Katy, I've had a response to my email last night, regarding payment for the MIT sessions:
First, thank you for completing the first session!
To answer your questions, you receive the amount after your channel takes fee, which varies by channels. It looks like your channel takes about 30%. Please keep in mind that because of different fee rates, I had to communicate the rewards in multiples.
The reason why the bonus is credited under the prescreening is rather complicated. Basically, the secret link to the first session creates a new account for you, which is not connected to your primary account. So if I paid you under that study, the money would not be credited to your main account and thus not immediately available. To work around this issue, Crowdflower advised me to pay this way. Our newer study instructions include these details, but i think you were not informed because it was November you did the prescreening survey. Sorry for the confusion.
And that said, if you participate in the second session (assuming your team comes back too), your bonus will also be credited under the prescreening study. And please keep the channel fee in mind.
Long time MSE user, I've had to re-register as I've lost my log in details:o

I did this and didn't get a completion code at the end, which was frustrating. Submitted a ticket for it so we'll see if I actually get paid.0 -

I didn't get paid either. I think it was because it didn't take me 15 minutes. I timed myself and it took only 9, that was with considered answers....This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Most surveys take less than the required times. This shouldn't affect you getting paid.

I had a feeling that this would be the case, thanks for letting me know and at least we know the reason why. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

In this case the instructions specifically mentioned that they would be tracking the amount of time taken over it and if it was finished in 'a few minutes' it wouldn't be paid. I can't see how they expected it to take 15 minutes though!0 -
Oh no! How annoying/unusual. Thanks for letting us know
Hope you can get some joy from a ticket x
