Wow that's great, well not the upgrade fee of course! Did it take you a long time to get to 2,000 refs? Is it a lot better than golden? The free recycling does look very attractive :D I'm loving being golden for now....just getting the hang of recycling, but I'm finding it very addictive the more refs I get!

Edit - my plan is to save a little each week and collect as many coins as I can to put towards an upgrade....up to around 3,000 so far but every little helps!

I upgraded after about 1,200 RRs I think. That took about 9 months. Due to the tiered nature of the renewal costs, you'll find your break-even point at its lowest with 500 RRs as a Golden Member. In the months leading to my upgrade, my referrals were giving me a LOSS of $20 or so per month! I think you have to decide where you ultimately (forgive the pun) want your account to go. Either stick as a Golden Member at a level where the numbers are on your side, or stomach some losses and build for the future.

Yes, the free recycling is the major benefit. I'm churning 250-300 a day, which would be an astromical cost if I was shelling out 7 cents everytime!

Even with this, I've never had an average exceeding 0.705 for a whole month. The figures are obviously a lot more volatile when you have a smaller referral base.

As I'm sure I've said before, it's a VERY long game if you're on my route. I think I've withdrawn all of about $36 from NeoBux since I joined!

Edit: the 0.705 is an average of the average for a whole month, if you get my drift!

Thanks snowcauldron, that's food for thought :D

You're definitely right about the numbers being volatile with a small ref base...mine seem to fluctuate between say 0.45 and 0.96 at the moment. Yesterday was a high day :D:D

I quite like the look of Sapphire, which is cheaper, but I think you have to wait 13 days for free renewals...but you don't have to click every day if, for example, you go on holiday. That appeals....

I have long enough to ponder what to do though, a few months till I get to that stage at the very least :rotfl:

I also withdraw $10 a week to keep me motivated, which will slow things down!

Do you have an ulitmate goal :rotfl: I subscribe to several threads which is interesting, like Reggen, Magnet and rseven...they make a fantastic passive income don't they!

Yeah, Magnet has some stupendous figures. I cannot recall how much he initially invested ($30,000 maybe?) and where he is on his journey to full recovering that? Perhaps he's there now...

I keep changing my mind as to an eventual goal. 10,000 RRs would be lovely, there's something very alluring about tipping into 5 figures. For now, the plan is to get to 6,148 referrals (middle of May), and then take an income. Should be around $200 per month or so. Think I'll sit on that number until my investment has been paid back, then think again!

You're right, NeoBux is very addictive. It does take over your life slightly though :D I'll follow your career with interest!

Fantastic goal there snowcauldron, I hope you can get to your target number. That sounds amazing! :)

I'll follow your updates too :) Do you have a thread on NeoBux? I have a stats thread...mainly to keep me on the right track and to just try to be in profit every day, which I've managed so far, I'm sure it'll change though as I'm so new to the site :)

Right..must go and do some work, the joys of working from home :rotfl:

  • Wow, Neobux doesn't half sound complicated. One of these days I might give it a try.

It's not so difficult sonicetomeetyou, it's just a long game. It's much like ClixSense really..the tasks pay slightly more, which is nice, but the real money seems to be with referrals, which you can rent or you can recruit directly :)

Many of us on here use NeoBux and are happy to offer advice or to refer you :):):)

Rachel how many referrels did you have when you went Golden?

Also you mentioned the holiday thing, I've been thinking about that, how doew it work if say I'm aways for 2 weeks? I take it I would just lose my referrels money as I wouldn't be able to click my ads?

You wouldn't lose your referals unless they were about to expire but you would lose any income from your referals when you went away. that is if your golden or standard member

ultimate has an unlimited vacation mode which means you don't have to click on any ads to get your referal income

edit you were refering to your referal income in your post sorry lol

Thats what I thought, I guess the only way to work it would be to get someone else you trusted very well to click on the ads everyday.

Hi Fee, tbh I can't remember exactly. It was about six weeks after I signed up. I would say maybe around 50 referrals. It was early but worth it for me as I do quite well with the tasks. For every dollar you make you get a 24c bonus immediately added to your balance, whilst standard members get 12c. Also you get 1c per ref click instead of 0.5c. I invested the $70 to go golden, but I've pretty much got that back already. If you're going to upgrade, wait until the end of the week as there may be a promtion coming :)

I think OW has answered your question re referral income. :)

I'm wondering whether anyone knows if you can click whilst you're away by using your phone as a personal hotspot? For example, I can tether my iPhone to my laptop, using my iPhone as my WiFi....I wonder if I could do that on holiday without breaking the rules? Maybe one of the longer term members would know, wouldn't want to do it without knowing for sure, as I would hate to break the tos and lose my account :eek::eek:

The other option is to get a package cheaper that Ultimate. I think Sapphire is between $2-300.
