Try clicking on the bookmarklet link on the task again, as if you are back at the beginning, and then reloading. Sometimes that work.

Sometimes I have to give up and retry the task and sometimes it just doesn't work, that is why I rarely bother with those.

Tried all that. No joy. The isntructions are:
1)Clear all cookies
2) Go to search engine and search ABC, go to second page
3) search XYZ and search for DFG in "the" page.

I assume "the" page is the first one.

I also get two slightly different google results if I use wifi or LAN. Weird!

Yes it is in the page, but then you need to look at pages 1-10. Most of the jobs have a question where they ask you what results from 1-10 it was ND what page it appears on.

What is the task number of the job?

Presumably the difference between wifi and LAN is influenced by other computers/electronics on the same network?

It doesn't show up any more.

But no, I know what you mean, this is different. Result are expected in the first page.

Can you look in your browser history? If you reopen it and hit give up you'll see the task number in the URL (At the end).

No browser history, because that has been deleted as by assignment.

You stated that this job is different, the normal 'Financial Survey' tasks require you to search 10 pages, if necessary. You said it was all the jobs, I've just opened 9 of them and all of them are the same standard jobs.

If you want some help here next time it would be useful to have the job number, I'm always happy to try and help (as are most people here) but without a job number it is possible you've just misunderstood the instructions.

The job ID of the survey I was talking about was 674955, and it won't let me do it again. It didn't give the option of searching ten pages.

Then I also have a problem with 676096, in this case the link is in the first page, but the bookmarklet still report I'm not working on task.

With all of the Fisher Investments / Financial Survey tasks, it is expected that you will visit 10 pages on Google, if required, to find the required search result. They have been this way for a good 2 years, but it wouldn't surprise me if that part is now missing from the instructions, as this happens a lot.

When it says that I'm not working on a task, I usually give up and re-take the task.
