The catflap has been permanently open for a few days now. I telephoned Sureflap on Wednesday afternoon to see what advice they could offer.
Lovely lady asked me to check to see if the motor was making a noise when I pressed a button on the inside of the equipment. Whilst she could hear Benji purring (he was assisting), we could not hear the motor running. She said she would send out a completely new unit, which I have just received.
Benji has been using this for over 4 years and I really thought we would have to pay for a new one.
