3 Missed Payment - Will it show on credit file?

Hello All,
I am a firm believer in the whole, use the credit card and pay it off in full at the end of the month. My Partner and I both now put any bill that we can on our credit card and pay it at the end of the month (tidies the bank accounts a little).
I recently moved my 3 mobile over to the CC and asked the woman on the phone if my next bill would take from the CC and she confirmed 100% that it would. Surprise Surprise, the payment did not take and my account was 9 days overdue, without them even so much as informing me that the payment did not go through. I called 3 and this is getting looked into currently, however, do phone companies report straight away that a payment has been missed or is there a time limit. We previously had a similar situation when doing the bank account switch and o2 DD hadn't been sent in time, I immediately paid up when they sent a letter ( 7 days after) and this never showed up on my credit file (I did call them and explain the situation as the bank covered me for missed payments on their behalf).
I am currently applying for a mortgage and will be mortified if this happens to show up. More so as I kept the money in my Current Account just in case and they cancelled my DD!!
Thanks in advance for anyone who can share their experiences etc.. I can trust that 3 will sort this issue but timing is important here.

Yes it will show, but in isolation it isn't a big deal.0

I'd have a word with Three and put the question directly to them. I think given they provided the wrong information it would be very unfair for it to have any impact on credit rating.
If you have missed a payment then fair enough, but missing a payment due to their staff providing the wrong info is an entirely different matter.0 -
Thanks for the reply guys. Three called me back on Friday and confirmed they have listened to the calls and I was in fact provided the wrong information.
The Manager is contacting the consumer credit team to have this rectified. Although he also said it shouldn't show up on the credit file in the meantime due to paying it when I did, so really if it does show up all they need to do is listen to the second call!0
