hi,looking to put away a lump of cash and can leave it for a few years
was looking at leeds building society as someone was telling me thats where they keep cash as ive just been a normal current account person for years im a bit lost with all this savings stuff,ive got 2 isas with santander but would like to tuck away about 50k,anyone know if leeds bs is ok,thanks

Look at the accounts listed in this: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/savings-loophole
Add 3 x BOS Vantage which will allow for £5,000 each and you have found homes for your £50K, probably for at least the next 12 months. Keep your eyes peeled for rate changes and/or new offerings.0 -

You can of course do that instead. Plenty of places offering returns just below inflation, so your money will only lose a small amount of value.
