I noticed that the CPW F3's are offer on any network. Can anyone confirm if the F3's from CPW are unlocked?
Also there was a post that only £8.xx was billed with no sign of the £10 top up is this the case or do they bill you the £10 sometime AFTER the phone arrives?Seth.0 -

All F3's I've had from CPW or P4U have been unlocked. As regards the billing, a lot of the online companies do not put the cost of the top up on the invocie receipt even though your card has been charged for it. As they treat it as non refundable.0 -
Is the motorola one from Asda unlockable on the mobile board here or is it one of those ones you have to PAY to get unlocked???:eek:Ellie

Thanks so much for this. I'd been looking for a cheap, basic mobile for my daughter who has special needs and is about to go to college. My local Asda put one aside for me collect and the phone is exactly what I've been looking for - basic, easy to use with a large display. Perfect for people with special needs and elderly users who just want to make and receive calls.0

What's the deal?
With a Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) mobile you simply get the phone and add credit before you need to use it. Currently they're available for just £9 (locked to the Orange network) in store at Asda; the cheapest I've ever seen.
How to get it
65,000 were available across all Asda stores last Thursday, but this stock is virtually gone so an additional 5,000 are being sent to selected stores (Asda supercentres) on Wednesday 1 August, but you'll need to be quick to get one.
The following store will be receiving extra stock: Boldon, Bridge of Dee, Cardiff, Coventry, Derby, Eastgate, Eastlands, Eastleigh, Edinburgh, Ellesmere Port, Great Bridge, Havant, Haydon, Huyton, Livingston, Milton Keynes, Minworth, Patchway, Pudsey, Queensferry, Sheffield, Tamworth, Trafford Park, Watford and Wigan.

The big Asda in Watford still has the Motorola F3 for £9. I picked one up this morning. There were still a few left, but you have to ask at the electricals desk as they are in the locked cupboard behind the counter.
