Now I'm really confused

So, for the last few years I have been unable to get into my Experian report as I forgot the details and didn't want to call them. I've just been able create a new account with them and have viewed my report.
My credit score on there is 795, where as another shows is as 563. I know the score is irrelevant, however, the 2 defaults that I am concerned about (They drop off in May 2015 after the first default date was logged May 2009) are not showing on Experian, but they do show on 2 other credit reporting agencies.
Which one do I believe? Am I out of the woods in terms of those defaults? Also, one more default I wasn't aware of is logged on experian and not the other agencies. Which is right?

They are probably all correct. It depends on which CRA the companies are using.0

Hi TWS89
The link below from elsewhere on this site makes very useful reading, as it gives you an idea of which credit agencies various lenders refer to. Something to bear in mind if/when you go looking for new credit.

I just checked the form and it says HSBC report to experian but they are the two defaults that aren't appearing on my report with experian.0 -
I wouldn't rely on that list for where any lender may report old debts to.0

So I'm guessing I'm going to be in the dark for a while until they drop off from every report!
I am just wondering, how is one default viewed? Is it horrific? Can that have an affect on applying for a bank account. I was refused one not so long ago and was wondering if that was based on all 3 of my defaults, or just the one on Experian?0 -
Hi TWS89,
A lender may search using more than one credit reference agency, so it won't be until all the defaults are removed that you can be sure a lender would not see them.
Having a default on your report, particularly an older default would not prevent you from getting a bank account completely, a basic account should still be possible to open, but you may want to speak to the lender first to explain your situation, and see if they have any suitable products for you.
