SS that is awesome news!!!! Well done you.
It must be a day for it. After 8 weeks of nagging, uncertainty & stress, the insurers coughed up the latest installment in my BI insurance. Which is way less than they actually owe me, but has definately helped. I have been able to pay back the OD we have used this month because of the funding gap, & pay off several nagging bills too.
I am hoping now that I have got the part time work money coming in, I can just forget about the claim. They are going to end up having to pay out a lot of money eventually, & now the ombudsman are involved to that is looking increasingly likely. So bottoms up eh!

Hello all!
One more day to the weekend! Woohoo!
Filled my car up today but that was the only spend, even when the lady said only £1 for chocolate and I said no thank you! Good for lbs and £s!
Done a few surveys and logged on to freepostcodelottery, extra penny but no win sadly!

Hello,
Warm wishes to you Ziggy - I'm sure we all appreciate the effort you put into starting and contributing to this thread. :kisses3:
Today has been a NSD. My 9th this month, which I'm proud of. It seems like a little amount, but I bet I'd have had hardly any in a pre-MSE/DFW month.
Started writing a complaint letter about my (company lease) car and the constant trips to the garage for the same issue despite it being brand new.:mad::mad: I heard about someone who got money back and a free weekend away as a goodwill gesture from another car company - so we'll see. I could rant about all this for days, but I'm giving myself a headache thinking about it.
Checked my bank - all good.
No heating on today.
Signed up to a few more survey sites - Swagbucks is mega confusing but I'll see how I go with it!0 -
Bit late updating today. One of those days...!

B/L/D from menu-planner & stores

Not much by my usual stadards (list-making queen) but I have been at work all day so not much time to do anything.Debt free since May 20150 -
Hi all
Did a load of washing on a quick wash (just stuff that needed freshening up) and will put this over the airer before I go to bed.
Heating only on for an hour, tea was a L*dl roast chicken, stayed away from shops when I went to the post office at lunchtime.
Must go and check my finances and update the spreadsheets.0 -
Good luck Ratison with your complaint.
