Social club ticket - when a member

Hi,
I've read the Newbies thread with the standard letter, but I'm just after advice on wording of appeal.
We have received a PCN issued exactly 14 days after the "offence" of parking for 14 minutes in a car park. Checking the address it is a social club which my wife is a member of and the only reason we would park there is to drop her off or pick her up, which one of us has done several times. I haven't checked the signs but as I recall they say that members park there at their own risk and non members will be fined (I need to get round there and check exact wording). If I go to the club with her I normally walk, as that way I can drink
Is the standard letter still the best policy or should I write to them and the club quoting my wife's membership number and appeal on the grounds that as a member she was authorised?
EDIT: Sorry I forgot to say that the company is Civil Enforcement Ltd

You need to name the PPC and then you can be advised on the best course of action to take with them. But you also do need to appeal to the club and as a member your wife may be a part owner and the PPC could be acting wrongly against a part landowner.
It may be a fake PCN as well.
BUT ALWAYS READ and understand THE NEWBIES stick thread.REVENGE IS A DISH BETTER SERVED COLD0 -
Come back with what the notice says and how they tell who are members, but at the same time, as advised, get your wife to talk to the club to get it cancelled.0

CEL - just send the template letter from the Newbies thread (NOT the one from any MSE article).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
