Fixing broken boiler before moving house

So as a last gasp, I got the details of the new buyers, emailed them direct and explained our predicament.

Well I hope it all works out for you - in the meantime, I don't if other people are about to sell and ain't sure about "forgetting to mention" the boiler that's broken ... Well all I'd say is get some prices from local firms and see who's the cheapest - certainly if it is broken, just check that british gas didn't tell you that ... if they say it's broken - chances are it's easily fixed by a expert.
So yeah get some prices in and at least you can tell your potential buyer "I've got a quote for XX to get the boiler fixed" As for cheap prices (with good reputations I used stl heating to quote for my new boiler). My potential buyers got it replaced via them and we agreed to bump the selling price to accomodate the price of the new boiler.
