Energy Saver
I followed the instructions for making the mass energy saving switch but have not received anything confirming my switch. I did receive an acknowledgement and was advised EDF was the cheapest one for me to switch too. Does anyone know whether this switch has now been made?

It typically can take 4-6 weeks for a switch to occur.
I think the CEC actually suggest allowing 8 weeks (due to them having to pass on your application)
The aim is now to get the switch time down to 17 days (which certain suppliers claim to be already able to achieve)
You will be given plenty of adnacnce warning before any switch occurs.
e.g. your old supplier will contact you with a 'sorry you are leaving' letter, your new supplier will be in touch telling you when the switch date is (it may well be different for different fuels) and that they want a meter reading, etc.0
