They haven't finished the job or sent me an invoice yet though, or even asked for payment, so I doubt that would get them very far!

To be fair, due to location of conservatory and adjoining buildings it wouldn't be that simple, they might be right that they'd need some proper scaffolding. But they would have known that all along!

I'm quite relaxed about it really - like I say, at the moment I've got £2.5k of new boiler for free!
