Well there's polite .
All though the thread is a interesting read in reality Tesco's is the answer.0 -
Yes now they do to get £100 bonus for switching. Another way to create DDs.
Thank You
Following on that, this is for the 5£ for the halifax for one account. It require 2 dd which I need.
Is it possible to put 2dd from the same tesco saving account (which will pay twice a month). Or do I need to open two different tesco savings?
Thanks0 -
No it isn't possible to satisfy the HBOS requirement with two DD mandates from the same Tesco savings account. You will need to open a second Tesco savings account. Job done!nonolerigolo wrote: »Following on that, this is for the 5£ for the halifax for one account. It require 2 dd which I need.

Absolutely right. One account could be a Tesco Internet Saver, the other a Tesco Instant Access Saver. These two accounts could furnish the DDs for any number of current accounts. No it isn't possible to satisfy the HBOS requirement with two DD mandates from the same Tesco savings account. No wonder there are so many "forgotten" bank accounts out there.
Some people are just being greedy. If you're desperate for the extra £90 a year, spend your time getting a better job rather than scrabbling over the interest rates.0
