Ipad RAM query

after a bit of advice please

looking at ggetting an ipad
I'm looking at this one from Tesco

however in the spec details it states it only has 512 mb ram

yet most other basic wifi ipads state as having 1GB of ram

is the lack of Ram a problem

any advice would be appreciated

That's likely not the model that you want. That's an iPad Mini 1.

If you really want an iPad Mini, I guess that you would want a Mini 2 or 3, with the Retina Display.

£319 will also get you the larger and now discontinued iPad 4 with Retina Display refurb from Apple. This has been superseded by the iPad Air & iPad Air 2.
