Xmas wine offers?
Last year there seemed to be an abundance of offers on wine for Xmas. I've been waiting for these to be offered again but nothing so far. I saw something in Asda last week and when I went back two days later, it had gone. It tends to be 25% off six bottles or similar. Anyone have the heads up on if/when this will come back?

all will have deals to con you with there cheap wines they just buy in bulk and rebrand to make you think your getting a deal , they know 99% of the wine buyers havent a clue what they are buying and only buy because of price and a shiny label"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0

The Tesco 25% off 4+ bottles is in addition to any other offers on a bottle.
My MIL just bought a few Oyster Bay Merlot for £6.19 down from the £11.19 list price as it was a double offer.
I am more Kronenbourg than wine, which Asda are currently doing at 30 cans for £20, which is blinking good 67p a can.

If you like something sparkling at Christmas Asda currently have some prosecco on for £5 per bottle....I would usually be quite dubious about the quality of a prosecco at that price but a friend brought a bottle over on the weekend and it was very niceCommon sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0

I used to pay £20 per month into a wine club and then buy a case when my balance allowed.
However since Tesco have come up with this deal I've decided to knock that on the head and save my money for any deals the supermarkets do.
The wine club did sell some really nice wines but when you're only drinking it in front of the TV then any any plonk will do for that won't it???0 -

I'm exactly the same - have been using Naked Wines but have decided to knock that on the head. Although you do get interesting bottles in the mixed cases you may not have bought normally...0 -

A couple of Shiraz suggestions from the Tesco's double offer, half price followed by 25% off for 4 bottles.
Hardy's Legacy Shiraz Cabernet £9.99 to £4.99 to £3.74
Lions Gate Cabernet Shiraz £9.99 to £4.99 to £3.74
£3.74 is cheap, especially if it is good.
FWIW, halving followed by s further 25% means a 5/8 reduction or 62.5%.0 -
The 25% off offer is a brilliant one and is only available now until Tuesday so I would get in there quick if you will be needing a reasonable amount of wine for Christmas.
I bought 12 bottles of Dino Prosecco on click and collect - ended up being only £3.87 per bottle (includes half price prosecco, 25% off and £12 off for first order: see Discount Codes board for more info on this)
The great thing is they take the 25% off before any other discounts!
