Default on credit report & mortgage

In c2005.6 i had a default recorded on my file for a loan I had. That has now come off my file given the time, but i was wondering (as I am applying for a morgage soon) whether an underwriter could still see see this?

No, unless you tell them they'll never know. I highly recommend checking all 3 files if you haven't already done so just to make sure they are all OK.0
