Hi guys, my PO 10 A/c bonus has expired, and have transferred balance to my linked A/c.
As they don't pay interest until March, I want to close it, but, cannot find any way to do it online.
Had several in the past, but can get the same 1.4% in my Tesco IS,or Sagas 1.55%,than PO's new version @ 1.4%.
Anyone know how to close 10 to get my interest?

Hi M, thanks for reply.I closed a one year bond with the PO last week and transferred the balance to my linked account.I got a letter yesterday saying they had closed the account as it had a zero balance.
I've had bonds and online A/cs with PO for years.same as you.
Bonds pay interest on Maturity;
Apparently, to close an" Online" A/c, I have to write to them and then they close it, paying interest into my Nominated A?c
As they always bring new Online A/cs with bonus out in October, and pay interest in March, it's hoping you will leave the interest in, earning a pittance for 5 months, or write;;
I must have umpteen A/cs with £1 in.
I Have left £1 in so will write and close it.
They don't specify where to, but will send via their Freepost.:beer:0
