Charged a call lasting one second for 27p, is this normal?

In our household, a call was made from out talktalk home phone to our talktalk mobile. the call lasted approx one second, and the call was charged 27p, is this normal?
Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!

I would have thought it might have been 11.5 pence unless there is a connection charge as well but I didn't notice that.0

You need to look at your home phone tariff.
Sky charges a connection fee and so much per minute, regardless of whether you use a minute or a second.
So its quite probable.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Yes its normal if a connection charge is involved. Call connection charge 15p .
+ Uk Mobile Call charge rounded to nearest minute 11.5p.=26.5p rounded up 27p.0 -
Now that most companies charge both a connection fee and per-minute prices, short chargeable calls are a total rip off.
I use telesave via 0800 0662266 for my few and far between daytime calls, no connection fee and 4p minimum call fee.0
