Parking Ticket - High Barnet....HELP

Hi everyone,
Please advise on the following issue.
I parked on a street close to my home yesterday, it is astreet which i park regularly and has no visible restrictions (no signs on lampposts or markings on the road).
On returning to my car i had received a parking ticket forparking in a 'restricted area whilst blocking a dropped walkway'.
The walkway mentioned was a drive in front of a house, it wasn’tblocked at all. My car simple covered where gradient started to decrease toroad level. Looking down the road everyone was parked in front of their drives(Dropped walkways?) yet it was only myself that was unlucky enough to get aticket.
I was hoping that the attendant had no justification to giveme a ticket as there are no restrictions and for all they know it could be myown house that i would like to park in front of.
Any advice would be useful, i am unsure whether to just paybut or fight the ticket?
Thanks in advance.

Presumably this is a council issued ticket, in which case you need to go onto Pepipoo's Council Parking Tickets & Clamping and Decriminalised Notices forum and ask there.0

That's not a properly worded Council contravention so is it a Penalty from a Council or a private scam one from a company?Parking in a 'restricted area whilst blocking a dropped walkway'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
