theatre tickets

Hi I am trying to purchase theatre tickets for my mother and her disabled partner. I am having difficulty in doing this, any tips would be greatly appreciated.

For a start , do not use the booking agencies !
Your best course of action is to call the theatre direct and enquire about accessible seats and if the theatre has wheelchair spaces ?
We visit London quite often for the shows and have found the Cameron Macintosh/Delfont theatres among the best for this service ! they also offer a free companion seat with the bookings so 2-4-1 really !
We suppose it depends where & when you want to go see :)

^^ what they said. Some theatres offer nothing, btw, my in-laws got a free companion seat at one of the London shows when MIL said FIL was very deaf, but when I booked seats in Manchester there was nothing for deafness, and IIRC not a lot for wheelies either.

Also if deafness is involved, check which seats are looped or if there are subtitled performances. My sister sat uncomprehending through the Lion King: she didn't know the plot at all, and there was no loop in the cheap seats!
