Any experience of HSBC accepting poor credit history for basic account?

Hi all

As per title, does anyone know if HSBC will open a basic account for someone with a bad credit history? (9 defaulted accounts within the last 3 years).

I know Barclays and Co-op tend to be a good choice for people in this situation, but I wondered how HSBC view this.

Thank you

You should apply and see how you get on.

Would be most interested in then reading about your experience.

I suspect no one else here has, or otherwise would admit to, defaulting on 9 separate bank accounts in the last 3 years.

    Good luck.
