Should I be concerned?

In August I started to receive letters at my address for a person that didn't live here and never had. The letters were from Liverpool Victoria (LVE) and one from another company. Both were relating to an insurance claim. Initially I dismissed these letters as a mistake.
A week or two later more letters arrived from the same companies. I contacted both and explained that this was a mistake (or fraud) and that the person in question didn't live here.
Over the next 2 months the letters from LVE continued. I would post them back as 'return to sender. not known at this address'. In October I opened one of the letters and it was a demand for money from LVE for a default on payments. I phoned again explaining the situation and was told that the file had been referred to their fraud department and not to worry. The letters continued....
Today I received a letter from a debt collection agency called ARC Europe Ltd. They are demanding that this person pays them £680 within 14 days or they can "register the default against your personal credit file"
My questions are....can this have an impact on say mortgage applications and/or credit applications for my address? Will I be 'blacklisted' even though I'm not the person named on the account but it is relating to my property? Should I contact ARC explaining the problem?
Any advice welcome.
Thanks

Ignore them and return to sender, credit is on individuals not addresses.0

it won't impact on you at all. As above credit is on people.....make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
