5 to 6 weeks does seem long to wait for a survey .
I agreed the purchase of my house on a Thursday and had the survey within a week ."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0 -
Also we both work full time and have small kids so were concentrating our efforts on gathering all the information for the forms which was really hard to do amid everything else. I guess we could have done it sooner, but honestly in my experience this was normal sort of timing for surveys.0

It took weeks for our survey to be done because it came at a certain point in the mortgage process. There was no way of speeding it up, despite some people on here telling me how awful my husband and I were being for not having it done ASAP!0
