Dissolving a trust fund.. advice needed

Hi All,


My family is in the process of dissolving a trust fund which is to be split between three parties.


We began the process 6 months ago using a local accountant and have just sent off forms with copies of our passports/driving licenses etc etc..


My question is does anyone know how long this is going to take? I keep getting the answer "it will take as long as it takes" sort of thing.


Have any of you ever dissolved a trust and how long did it take?

As long as it takes is the answer! Presumably you and your professional advisers have complied with the legal requirements - you should also advise HMRC that the Trust has come to an end.
