inheritance and tax credits

hi there i will be inheriting around 35,000 pounds next year from in a trust fund left by a relative. does this need to be declared as income and will it affect tax credits.

An inheritance is not income but if any benefit is dependant upon you having below a certain level of assets, you might not be eligible any more.
I don't thinks tax credits are effected by the level of assets.We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
The earth needs us for nothing.
The earth does not belong to us.
