iSofas.co.uk Good or not

They are an online retailer and also on eBay. I'm looking for a sofa at the minute and they appear to be great prices compared to the likes of DFS. Anyone used these before?

They're a few issues regarding the young age of the directors [21 & 25] trading as Eurosofa & looks to be now run by their accountant under name Winchwell
  • Please do not ever buy anything from I sofas. If you do you will likely find the products are of ver poor quality, and when you try to get them (Aiden and Luke the 2 young men who run the Buisness), to listen and sort things professionally, you will enter an extremely protracted process of chasing with no responses or acknowledgement - do not take this warning lightly. I had an issue with my first sofa and it took over 6 months to get a replacement which was eventually reluctantly given. During this difficult time, I was made to feel as if it were my fault and that I was a nusience customer which is wrong. In less than 3 months, the replacement sofa (which was not even actually the type that had been agreed, but they did not acknowledge this fact) also began to deteriorate badly. This is more than coincidence. I had all my emails ignored and calls never returned. I am still fighting for a full refund and was effectively told more or less where to stick my complaint. I am now passing all my correspondence to the furniture ombudsman to resolve. I sofas are not a proper or legitimate company. Do not let the fancy website or cheaper prices fool you. You will only be entering a world of protracted difficulty and be at the mercy of unprofessional young men / chancers who are trying to make a fast buck. There is no customer service. There is no other management by which to escalate a complaint to. Do not make the same mistake we did. One of the worst consumer experiences I have ever encountered. Sincerely.

Never knew we had a furniture ombudsman?
  • When did you purchase your sofa?
Did you ask for a refund within 30 days of purchase?
