Hello,
This is regarding my mother's BT account..
On 9th/November I paid £68.16 and was told by the automated voice that the account balance was £0. It shows on the online records that the amount was paid.
I checked her account today, and it hasn't cleared off the 'bill amount' section. I click on 'pay my bill' and it says ''Your outstanding balance is: £54.45''
I check on the breakdown of bill bit, and it just shows the breakdown for the £68.16..no extra £54.45.
I checked the broadband usage, and there is 8GB/10GB left to be reset on 1/12.
I went to ring them, but their phonelines are closed.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be? There is no way we can afford the extra £55...We went with them because we thought it would be cheap...the £68 was only because my mum forgot to tell me she couldn't afford the bill!!
Thanks

You pay for line rental and broadband basic charge (assuming it's not unlimited) in advance, with calls in arrears ,so is this the next quarter's bill building up, but not due for payment (3 months at £18.15) ?0

I have sorted it now, thank you0
