Pension and ESA

My small private pension is due to start paying out in a few weeks time when I turn 60. I'm in the support group and didn't have my due reassessment a year ago; I guess because of the backlog it was postponed.

I have to inform the DWP about the change in income though my pension money is far below the ESA rate so will still have top up payments. Does anyone know if this will trigger a reassessment even though my condition hasn't changed just a change of money coming in?

Thanks :)

Most, if not all, reassessments seem to have been put on hold but new pension income wouldn't trigger a reassessment of your incapacity. The pension income will cause the amount you receive to be reassessed.
