What is going on - Kaspersky strange message?

I have just placed an order with Tesco Wine Direct and while the payment was going through to the Mastercard verification thing (which I do not have but it took ages and ages) I got a message from Kaspersky saying that the root certificate or suchlike was out of date and I had the option to disconnect or continue - it was all very confusing:eek:
As many of you will know, this kind of things absolutely scares the !!!!!! out of me. What is that about?
Anyway my order seems to have gone through ok, but does this mean that the Mastercard site is in doubt?

Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time
