some nurserys run holiday clubs for children upto 8-9ish. ring around and see - not a cheap option though
when we were little mum used to do two weeks at home with us and look after two lots of friends children, then they would swap and each do two weeks each- 6 weeks holidays sorted!
do you have any nieces nephews or neighbours who might babysit for you, i used to do that in the holidays from college for my auntie.
some childminders might also have holiday places for example of they pffer term time places they may need to fill that gap0
