Hi all,
Only just found this fab site whilst searching the web for some information.
Don't know if anyone can help and I apologise in advance if I am sounding like a thicko

I have read that live t.v. programmes can be accessed via the p.c. without any charges. How would one do this? What would be required?
Thanks guys

Thanks for your reply - but I don't know

I have seen an advert for websites that say you can watch free t.v. It may be streaming, I am a complete numpty about it all. I havn't seen much that can be watched, but the advert stated that you could watch football etc, (not that I want to) Do you have to download something to watch them with? Or do they just play on the computer?
Some were, globalitv and easy vid. I am not sure where to find out about it, I am probably in the wrong place  you may tell me to go away if you wish

they are probs streams.....low quality, unless your into watching forign news channels and u like to shop via the TV then its a waste of time, also make sure you run a virus / adware / spyware scan before installing.....i dont trust em :P0

Well yes there are certain websites that will let you stream tv recordings. Pretty illegal and usually not great quality when streaming. These generally aren't live streams
Those adverts for ones you see on google and the like tend to be about live streams of Far Eastern channels. Usually you have to download a program in order to watch them. Many people do it for streaming sky sports football through Asian channels. But yeah its free but again illegal as its based on P2P technology. I know of certain sites that list links for the football through these programs but for other content I wouldn't have a clue. And as I mentioned not legit so probably can't really discuss it here anyway.0 -

A TV tuner card would be the easiest way... http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/51198 - as an example...0 -
Thank you all for your replies, I'll steer clear
