If you believe it to be fraud, a criminal offence, add that to letter "perhaps apparent fraud" & report to police & get CRN. Police have a clear duty to record all crimes.

They are using it as a hook to reel people in, and probably assumed you wouldn't notice.

Just ring them up now, and ask to view it, and I bet you will be told that it has JUST been rented out, but they have lots of other nice properties that they can take you to in the area...

You can then tell them that you own the property, and want it removing immediately.

You will probably find that they own the images if they took them.

As someone who is trying to find a property to rent, it is amazing how many properties 'have just been let' when they have only been advertised a few hours. I'd say they are using your property to bring in new customers who will be offered some not so nice properties.

Firstly see it as a compliment that your property is obviously deemed good enough to be on show, then secondly deal with them appropriately!

Thank you all for your replies.

I am hoping that it isn't an error so I can scream at them! The EA and landlord relationship broke down back in 2012 when they put tenants into the house without references! They kept calling me earlier this year to ask if the house was available for rent which i kept saying NO! I asked them to remove us from their databases and not to be contacted again. Six months later...house on the market for rent! :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Instructed in writing. Had a formal complaint against them back in 2012 due to the tenant and lack of reference issue and they agreed to "Stay away" from us!! T
