It would be ideal but I don't think she would go along with it. I mentioned to her that my husband may have to do this for his mother (testing the water!) and I got a 'hmmmmm' as if to say 'don't get any ideas'!
She listens to her brother so I might have a chat with him and see if he can convince her as I think we'll need it at some point.0 -
She needs to realise that having a PA in place does not prevent her from dealing with her own affairs, signing her own cheques etc if she wishes.
Someone I know was immensely grateful that there was a PA in place when his very elderly mother fell, broke her right wrist, and was in rehab for eight weeks at a considerable distance from his home......0
