best way to transfer euros to UK

I couldn't find a better sub forum than this one. I have a Belgian bank account that has money I got whilst I worked out there a few years ago. Now the last tax return has been done I now know how much I'm left with. It's not a great deal and if I were to transfer it into my bank, ING would give me a terrible exchange rate and charge me for the trouble. What's the best way to move it over here? or are there websites I can buy stuff in euros and have it shipped to UK without worrying about currency conversion?
