ANPR - Ive sooo been waiting for this
hehey
I've lurked on here for a while and successfully appealed two ANPR attempts to fleece me out of £100 as a result. I want to say thanks very much for the effort put in by other members which enabled me to do this.
Today the to$$ers at ANPR have struck again! They kindly stuck a notice to my windscreen advising they have the right to seek another £100. This time however, when targeting two vehicles they put the wrong notice on each vehicle. I therefore have a notice in my possession that relates to someone else's car.
Looking through the forum for the umpteenth time I can't see any posts relating to this and would like to use this opportunity to have a good stab at ANPR's basic inability to ticket the correct vehicle. I'd like to appeal on the grounds of their demonstrated incompetence if its possible to do so.
Thanks for reading.

Not exactly the same but The Prankster blogged about this.

I would wait for the NTK and then drag a POPLA code out of them (takes 2 attempts usually, if this is ANPR Ltd and not ANPR PC or another firm?). Then you can include an extra POPLA appeal point that ANPR Ltd have failed to serve any windscreen ticket to this car which had the right VRN or any details at all, and so they have also failed to 'repeat the information from the PCN' in the NTK.
All of which causes them to get a 'U' in the test of keeper liability. Must try harder, Trev!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yep its ANPR Ltd. who have issued the notice.
Does it cost these bandits to retrieve keeper details from DVLA, if so how much?0 -
£2.50 a shot. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

No, but it will cost them a further 27 quid plus VAT at PoPLA.
Since the numpties think they have give you a windscreen ticket, won't the timings of the NTK will be wrong for POFA to apply?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

The timings will be POFA compliant, but the ntk will not be. As the ntk does not contain details of your car it fails the test. Only the driver can be held liable.Dedicated to driving up standards in parking0 -
If they haven't given a windscreen ticket then the NtK must arrive within 14 days, which it will not do because they think they have given a windscreen ticket. And unlike the many "ghost ticket" cases the OP has evidence that a windscreen ticket was not given i.e. that it was a ticket for the wrong vehicle.Je suis Charlie.0

What's to stop you swapping your PCN with somebody else who has received one in the same car park; especially if they put them in those nice little wallets, which you cannot see through. If they haven't given a windscreen ticket then the NtK must arrive within 14 days, which it will not do because they think they have given a windscreen ticket. Absolutely nothing. Just as there's nothing to stop unscrupulous parking weasels placing a ticket on a windscreen, photographing it, and then removing it. All of which just goes to show that it's ludicrous for PoPLA, the courts or anyone to take the word of a parking company that it did put a ticket on the car: how does that constitute evidence that there was a ticket there when the motorist returned?Je suis Charlie.0
