Cold callers

My 80 year old father in law had a cold caller knock at his door, they tried to get him to have work done on his house that 'so' obviously did not need to be done. They charged him a fortune as well. Just before the work was carried out his wife died which is how his family found out about it. We have contacted the company and cancelled the work and are in the process of trying to get his deposit back. What I want to find out is where I can get a 'no cold caller sticker' sign from? One that looks official or 'we don't buy' sticker from. Please help as I don't want him to be ripped off again. Thanks

Get some knuckledusters made with it written on; a quick blow to the forehead and the scrote will see it in the mirror when they next look.0

Just ask .... Didn't you read the sign ? I only buy off people who can read English.
You have a 7 day cooling off period if someone has come unenvited to your door.

Scroll down to "No Cold Callers Sign" and print one. Laminate it.
I have one of these. Mostly it repels cold callers.
Occasionally you get a half-repel, e.g. Betterware and Kleeneze, who leave the catalogue, but then won't collect it back (so it goes in the bin). Makes no sense.
And then there's the "I didn't notice the sign" and "I saw the sign but we are told not to take any notice of those by our manager" lot. Either way, I'm not going to buy from you.0 -
There's also the response " I can't read ", that's supposed too have added sympathy value,0
