I put a claim in for PIP in june....Had F2F last week 06/11/14 . Told that i would hear in 4-8 weeks about decision.. Today 9 days later ive received a letter from DWP PIP payment dept requesting bank account details before they can start making payments...No award letter etc ??? Im confused !!! Hiya

From reading other posts on here it seems that quite a few have received a payment before getting their award letter through so my guess is that you have been awarded something
Did you not give them your details on your initial phone call? they took my bank details then...I would give them a call on Monday to see if they can update you.

Hope you don't mind me asking but where in the country are you? and was it Capita or ATOS who did your face to face? I had my face to face yesterday with Capita, i'm in South Wales -they told me around a 6 week wait for the decision.

Your decision will depend on how quick your assessment providers send back both copies of the report to DWP and how quick they decide they have all the evidence they need. Everyone is different. They usually send out a letter once they have all the info they need. I'd leave a couple of weeks and ring to ask if decision has been made. Good luck.
