Fake Nikes and refunds

Hi all,

My partner ordered a pair of Nike trainers for a friend's birthday. They arrived this morning from China.....even though the site she bought them from had a British domain name.

The trainers appear to be fake (shoddily made). We're waiting to hear back from the site but aren't holding out much luck. Also, she paid by debit card.

What do people think are the chances of getting her getting her money back?

British domain name means nothing, anyone anywhere can get a .co.uk name.

Researching the site before you buy and the fact you thought you were getting a 70% off bargain is what counts. You have little chance of a resolution now.
