I actually know of someone this happened to. The vicitm did not go to the police. The criminal continued to steal/beg/borrow to fund their habbits. It didn't end well.
OP you need to go to the police, there is absolutely no way this has a happy ending. You need to look after YOURSELF or you will end up in lots of trouble. Forget about your lying, stealing friend. They will not change until they are forced to change. If you let them get away with it they will do it again.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -
You have two choices - either report it to the banks and Police and have it dealt with properly or don't and allow your 'friend' to continue to take further loans in your name. If you choose the latter course of action also be prepared to pay back all the money your friend borrowed.
Any attempt to protect this person is lunacy.0
