How to transfer contacts from Sony Xperia Z2 to another Sony smartphone?(no usb cable

Hi there

Am doing this for a friend and trying to help him to transfer contacts from one Sony (Xperia Z2) to another Sony smartphone and we can't seem to do it?

He can't find his USB cable and is there any other way of transferring contacts to the new Sony smartphone?

If his contacts are saved as "google" contacts (rather than "phone" or "local") they are backed up automatically with google and will appear on the new phone as soon as he logs in to google, which you basically have to do to use a Android phone.

That's the easiest way, and it also means you don't lose your contacts if you lose you phone and have to get a new one.

If they aren't google contacts on the old phone, try to change them, there's proably a way to edit this.
