I apologise if this has already been mentioned in this long thread but....

On https://www.subscription.co.uk if you get an offer code for a subscription and then just keep trying numbers above and below that code you get different offer prices / periods.

For example I got a flyer offering me 'World of Interiors' 10 issues for £19.99 - offer code 1231.

I fiddled around and ended up getting 12 issues for £22 by putting offer code 1291

And at the moment you can pay by credit card and specify it as a christmas present which means you get a gift card to go with it.

Never pay for anything like this by credit card, they can be very awkward to cancel, as credit cards do not have anything similar to the Direct Debit Guarantee that protects the consumer.

I was under the impression that I was making a one-off purchase, which is why it seemed a good way to buy it as a present.

You've got me thinking now, though, I need to double check.

The website says
'There's no need to send any cash now, the cost will be charged to your Halifax Credit Card account each month after you receive your magazines.'

So looks like you might have to use their credit card. Don't know for sure though.
