Sorry not really got anyone to turn to atm who can really answer me so thought I will post on here.
I have been away on holiday for 2 weeks and during this time I have received my statement. I come back from holiday early hours this morning and opened "my statement" up at around 11am read it etc and saw the payment due date was the 17th. Logged on my and paid it straight away, checked the bank and had gone. With it being Monday though what will happen? I mean will I be ok or will it miss?
Thanks

If the payment was made by the faster payment option, which i'm certain it would have been, it will credit in around 2 hours to your M&S account & show on your statement the next working day, in this case being Monday, so nothing to worry about. Hope you had a great holiday.0

Yes I undertsnad what your saying going to set it up actually. ThanksYorkshireBoy wrote: »Via online banking at your own bank? Or by debit card on the M&S website?
Via the M&S website. Then logged out straight onto my banking website to check account and I was -the amount...0 -

Thanks for finding that. Looks like I may have a few problems then0 -
payment due date was the 17th
You could still send a faster payment from your bank.
Not guaranteed (although it would have been yesterday), but worth a try.0 -
When ever I've done a debit card payment via the m&s site it always seems to credit immediately. The payment date shows as the same date I made the payment if that's of any help.0
