I have a Windows Formatted External Hard Drive with music and films etc and I am looking to transfer all the files to a New Mac External Hard Drive. Is there an easy solution via my Mac Laptop to transfer everything?

Your macbook should be able to at least read the old Windows formatted (NTFS or FAT) drive so it should be as simple connecting both and copying from old to new.The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.0

You shouldn't need to copy anything, just plug the external drive into the Mac and use it like you did before.
I've got several external drives, they all come formatted for Windows and I never change them, just plug 'em and use 'em.One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0
