They're entitled to be indemnified for their losses by the supplier so it's possible they'd make contact but it's hard to say whether or not credit card providers actually do this. The hassle and expense might not be worth it to them.Is the card provider likely to contact the retailer for any reason (to demand the payment back etc)?0 -
