Leaving nPower, Getting Emails

I am leaving nPower and in the last few days I have received 5 seperate emails from them urging me to call them to "finalise my account".
I have not called but would I be correct in the assumption that this is just a ploy to get me on the phone for them to try to persuade me to stay?

Definitely a ploy to give you 'stay with us' sales talk. I have had the same. Don't phone them. You new providor will make the necessary arrangements for your switch. My switch will be complete on Monday. NPower have thrown a tantrum and cut off my online account so I can't 'view your latest bill' and neither see my credit with them. Luckily I have kept substantial records. A thoroughly disreputable company and you have made a wise decision to leave them.0
