I haven't been able to get argos up yet, tesco yes but not argos

I am the opposite, I can sporadically get onto the Argos site but Tesco is a dead zone.
  • Well it wasn't on lightning deal.. but I bought a Leapfrog LeapTV for £59.99 - it is still £120 at a few places. I just need to find those games and an extra handset cheap now

This is my first "Black Friday". I can say I'm very underwhelmed. Seems like most places are just trying to dump off old stock.

I totally agree I'm not impressed, can't understand why everyone's going nuts:(
  • I have found Amazon fine to refresh the deals, got onto Argos no problem but nothing I wanted. It took about two hours to get onto Currys (again nothing), Tesco kept having the 30sec page but finally got onto there for nothing, also GAME nothing.
The only thing I have bought today is the Lego Soundtrack for £3.99 lol 'everything is awesome'

I can't be bothered to wade through all the tat that's all over the place today in the hope that I might just find something I'd quite like to get :rotfl:
I'd need to go and buy some food though but anything resembling a supermarket has turned into some kind of war zone it seems...

It looks like I'll be going hungry this weekend.

  • Thank you to those who responded re the kindle - very helpful indeed!
  • i got onto tesco eventually but only to order my groceries took about half hour of refreshing. Can't get onto argos at all which is frustrating as there is something I specifically wanted anyway.

I have been pleased with my amazon bargains. things we wanted for the children anyway so have saved ourselves quite a bit. Also a camera i had my eye on a while ago which dropped by £200 so happy with my deals
