My boys are the same ages. The junior one just has pictures and yo have to say something that would fit in the picture eg a circus background you can say clowns, ringmaster etc. It was great when they were younger and they still play it with their younger friends.

We play the older one more now as they get better with spelling. We cut them a bit of slack when they say a word that sounds like it has the right letters but doesn't, we just tell them the correct spelling so they will know again.

Dixit is another great game, it is on at 8.50 tonight. We have played it with friends and I want to pick up our own copy. Also looking at the bugs in the kitchen one it looks like silly fun.

No you won't get offered it now as the deal as ended. You will eventually get a message saying the deal has ended. Sorry you missed it.

Both my boys love games. Their school has a games club every Friday for the last hour of school and they love it.

I forgot to mention King of Tokyo which is on later, this is my 8 year old's favourite, we have it and the expansion and The King of New York variation and they never get bored with them.
  • So a couple of days ago I wanted an item that was reduced to £4 in the lightening deals, however they were charging P&P so I had to let it go, I was since allowed to purchase a CD in the deals for £3 without P&P, so I emailed Amazon to ask why I would have had to pay for postage with the first order, and they offered to let me buy the item at the lightening deal price of £4 this morning with no P&P. Very good customer service, especially considering how busy they must be!

All mine have come with Royal Mail so far (And there have been a few more than planned ;) ) Anyone else suddenly getting Royal Mail? Suits me, because Amazon Logistics, who usually deliver my Amazon orders are appalling. At least with Royal Mail, they take any orders back to the local post office, and I can collect them when I get in.

Oddly, yes - for a while recently everything was coming via Amazon Logistics. Not good. Now it's back to DPD (excellent) and Royal Mail (OK) again, as it was originally.

Amazon isn't usually very responsive to complaints about particular delivery channels, but maybe there were so many complaints about the appalling Amazon Logistics that they had to do something?

    Anyone else noticed a change?

I have always found amazon to be impeccable with their customer services, faultless and very fast delivery times, waiting in today for the two bits I have bought so far, head set and bear grylls trousers:D
