Thanks emweaver. Every pound counts, especially at this time of year!

Personally I would wait until the second one has been dispatched because yes you can return it within the 14 days for distance selling but they do not have to sell you the new one if they don't want to.
If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 7555
  • True about not getting much house work done eeeek as feel you need to keep coming and checking as they do occasionally throw something in that you haven't seen on the pages just before. So easy to get carried away :eek::eek:

I have got the Derwent pencils in wooden box for Christmas as DS loves the quality of these.
    The Hoover steam jet thing
and Lemaze firefly, V-tech light up ball and Leapfrog shapes and sharing picnic. So far only paid £2 as changed my TCB into Amazon gift voucher but thats all gone now:(

I put it in the basket then google either beforehand if know it is coming up or when in the basket to try and get an idea of what price they are else where.

A heads up for those wanting games consoles, an Xbox one has appeared at 7.30

This seems to have a very overinflated RRP of £481.07 IMHO

It doesn't seem to have Kinect

Thanks for the good advice Storck. I wouldn't have thought of that!
  • I placed an order at 4:15 and although it's in the orders section of my account I have not actually had an email. I'm slightly concerned.

    Thanks Zippyladoodles.

I had been hoping they would say they would match the reduced price and refund me the difference!

The cost of return is £3.30 so I'll use your idea of trying to find someone to buy it for me if the deal reduction is good.

Hopefully it will be! Tho i have been quite disappointed so far (but have bought a few things for myself), slightly negating the point of Xmas shopping! But hey ho ho ho, Merry Christmas to myself!
Saving for a return trip to America, 3 weeks on Route 66 for our honeymoon just wasn't long enough!

Hi all, what is your strategy to hit the "add to basket" button as soon as the item becomes available? I can't remember what worked last time, this time I waited on the right page, when the clock ticks down to 0 secs left, my computer buffered and when the pictures and buttons came up, the item was sold out and waitlist full! Is it best to try to refresh to catch the 0 second countdown do you think? TIA!

I wouldn't refresh if you can avoid it! It takes you back to the first page so you have to scroll through all the active deals to get back to the latest one. I think it has a lot to do with individual internet speeds, I'm lucky that mine loads quite fast. Maybe just make sure nothing else is using up your internet (downloads, other open pages etc.) and hope it speeds up. Otherwise someone else might know of a better way around it!
You bowl like your mother. Unless of course she bowls well, in which case you bowl nothing like her <3 Big Bang Theory :)

Hi guys - just wondering if anyone knows if The Walking Dead Compendiums will drop in price at all? Looking to buy them for my OH for Christmas.
