Stickies

Many forums make greater use of Stickies than appears to the case with MSE. Those of us who look daily at the various posts on this site will see the same issues arising time and time again. Would it not help new posters if stickies were used;e.g.,

1. Moving/New Home - Deemed Energy Contracts.

2. Fixed Tariff Ending - When can I switch?

3. Energy Switching - Tariff Comparison Sites.

You get the idea.

There's generally a 1 sticky per board rule now, which is usually a list of links to important threads that other forums may otherwise have as stickies, and which were often stickies here until the change.

The change was introduced apparently in preparation for an entirely new forum format. (and some boards had so many stivkies it almost filled up the entire first page of threads)

I think the change to 1 sticky per board is a good idea. No one ever reads them anyway
